Head-on Collision on Route 28

CENTERVILLE- At approximately 9:30pm Barnstable Patrolman Brian Morrison came upon a head-on collision on Route 28 near the COMM Fire Department.

Although it was a serious accident, nobody was seriously injured in the crash.  Rescue did respond to the accident for an “evaluation,” at least one person was transported to Cape Cod Hospital.

Traffic needed to be shut down briefly.  Several Barnstable Police units were needed to handle the traffic.  The scene was cleaned up and traffic was back to normal in under an hour.
