MARSTONS MILLS- The driver and passenger of this Toyota are very lucky to be alive after they rolled over at least once and came to rest back on all 4 wheels in someone’s front yard on Race Lane.

Just prior to 2:00am COMM Fire and Rescue, along with State and Barnstable Police responded to a rollover with personal injury near the intersection of Stoney Pond Circle and Race Lane.

As Hyannis News arrived, the passenger was being placed on a stretcher, lifted into an ambulance, and transported to Cape Cod Hospital for relatively minor injuries according to first responders at the scene.

The driver was up walking about with surprisingly no injuries to speak of aside from a minor scratch above his right eye.  When asked what caused the crash, the young man casually shrugged his shoulders and admitted to Hyannis News “speed.”

Both Police and Rescue workers all reminded the young man that he was extremely fortunate to survive this accident with just a scratch.  After time passed the driver seemed to realize the reality of what had just occurred and seemed to agree that he was, indeed, getting one more chance to be on this side of the turf.

  • Jeez Joel, wtf, who am I going to play ITG with if anything unfortunate happened? It sounds pretty lucky, that's good.
