[VIDEO] ROLLING OVERDOSE: SUV passenger on Route 6 needed help right away…
WEST YARMOUTH – Police and rescue rushed to the area of Exit 7 from the Mid-Cape Highway yesterday after a call for help.
First responders were searching for a green Ford Explorer after one of the passengers reportedly overdosed on heroin.
The Ford Explorer managed to pull safely off the highway and pull over into the driveway of a state maintenance complex.
The young adult male patient was just barely breathing when the first police officer arrived on scene.
The following video illustrates the real life drama surrounding an overdose. Narcan was reportedly given and the young male patient was expected to survive.
