VIDEO: Arrest made for alleged drunk driving after collision in front of Red Face Jacks…

YARMOUTH – As you will hear in the following video, the accident sounded much more serious than it actually turned out to be.

At about 9:30PM last evening, police and firefighters rushed to Route 28 in front of Red Face Jacks for motor vehicle accident with personal injury. Firefighters ramped up their response when it was reported that one of the patients was entrapped inside a vehicle.

It turned out the female patient was entrapped, reportedly because of power failure with her door lock… it didn’t take too long to get her out…

The female passenger in the vehicle that ended up in the driveway of Red Face Jacks, after striking the business’ sign out front, was able to walk after being freed from the vehicle.

As you will see, the woman was given field sobriety tests before being escorted into an awaiting ambulance. Her ambulance was then escorted by police to CCH…

According to indicators and sources on scene, one of the operators was arrested for OUI… but that has not yet been “officially” confirmed by the YPD.

The two other passengers/patients evaluated in the second vehicle, refused further treatment and did not need to be transported to hospital.

The following video highlights the scene. The police and fire audio added to the video is slightly out of sequence with actual events, but is rich with details about what had occurred.
