YPD: Pair gave false names… eventually arrested on numerous warrants…
The following is the actual YPD press statement:
PAC AND PATROL ARREST TWO ON SIX WARRANTS
On Monday, March 13, 2017, at 7:03PM Proactive Anti-Crime Unit Officer Nicholas Ambrosini and his partner K9 Gauge observed a male and female standing and acting suspicious outside of the passenger side of an older model brown mini-van in the Bass River motel parking lot on Route 28. The van was not parked in a parking space and it was believed everyone present may have been involved in illegal drug distribution.
Yarmouth Police Patrol Officers Gordon Gibbons and Melissa Alden arrived as back up. The male and female pedestrians both gave false names to Police Officers.
Upon determining their true identity, it was discovered that they both had numerous outstanding arrest warrants.
The male and female were placed under arrest and transported to Yarmouth Police Department Headquarters.
Both parties were placed in cells and held overnight and transported to the Barnstable District Court this morning…
