Crocker was from Osterville and represented Precinct 5 on the town council.
James Crocker was just 62-years-old…
In the Cape Cod Times article, friends expressed their sadness and stated he will be “sorely missed.”
The Barnstable Police Department issued the following statement on their Facebook page: “The men and women of the Barnstable Police Department offer our condolences and support to the family and friends of Town Council President James Crocker. He cared deeply about his community and will be sorely missed.”
And the Town of Barnstable also issued a somber statement on their government Facebook page: “The Town of Barnstable is saddened by the sudden passing of Town Council President Jim Crocker. Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife Gail, his daughters, family and friends at this difficult time.”
