DUMPING OF “MIGRANTS”/ “ILLEGAL ALIENS” CONTINUES TO DRAW PROTESTERS WITH NUMEROUS CONCERNS
[Reader photo of Sunday’s protest in Yarmouth/HN edits]
SOUTH YARMOUTH – [HN NOTES] – A healthy number of protesters holding signs once again lined Route 28 in front of Yarmouth Town Hall Sunday. And a steady stream of passing motorists once again showed support with the continuous honking of horns, according to video clips sent to HN. HN wasn’t able to physically attend but received numerous photos and several videos.
Ever since Hyannis News broke the news of Haitian migrants arriving by luxury bus at the Harborside Suites in South Yarmouth, on the evening of September 10, 2023, there has been an outpouring of concerns from numerous Cape Codders. HN has received examples of these ongoing concerns from readers, via emails, texts and voice messages. And these reader concerns have also been loudly echoed at a recent Yarmouth Town Meeting, along with a number of recent protests.
Many of the concerns have been mentioned, highlighted and discussed in a number of recent HN Videos.

So, what’s next for the concerned citizens protesting Governor Maura Healey’s handling of the recent flood of “migrants”/ “illegal aliens” coming to Cape Cod – all expenses paid with tax dollars – under her declared “state of emergency?”
Cheryl Ball announced an upcoming protest in Dennis. Cheryl started a popular Facebook group called, “Cape Cod Concerned Citizens.” The group’s numbers are quickly climbing, with 3,473 members at the time of this report. Cheryl made the following announcement to all group members after yesterday’s Yarmouth Town Hall protest:
“That was a great turnout today!!! Thank you to everyone for the support!!
My news for this evening is that we already have our next protest planned. We are taking the brigade over to Dennis! Just like what we see happening in Yarmouth, there is lot of rumbling about what’s coming to Dennis–most notably at the Eagle Pond nursing home. To start building the awareness in Dennis, we will be holding our protest in front of the Dennis Town Hall on Saturday, September 23 from 10-12. We’ll get an event posted for that.
We also have a protest in the works for Bourne. More to come on that later this week!”
