*** DEVELOPING *** “TRIPLE STABBING” : State police forensic crime scene teams called in to investigate at Hyannis residence… [HN VIDEO]
HYANNIS – At least three people were stabbed early this morning at a Hyannis residence. One of the victims had life-threatening traumatic injuries.
As you will see and hear in the following HN Video, at about 3:00 a.m., Barnstable Police squad cars rushed to 74 Danvers Way for some type of disturbance.
Upon arrival, officers learned they were dealing with at least two stabbing victims, one in priority one condition, the other had possibly been stabbed in the leg…
While attending to the victims at 74 Danvers Way, officers learned of a third stabbing victim that had arrived at Cape Cod Hospital and was being treated in one of the emergency rooms. Barnstable Officers were committed to the scene at 74 Danvers Way, so Yarmouth Police units responded to CCH to assist.
During the investigation, shortly after the initial 3 victims had all arrived at CCH, the prime suspect also walked into the emergency room with some type of wound or laceration….
Back at 74 Danvers Way, a large parking area had been cordoned off with yellow crime scene tape.
HN arrived at the crime scene shortly after 6:00 a.m and learned several state police crime scene investigation units were en route to document the scene.
A total of 3 unmarked state police crime scene investigation trucks arrived at 74 Danvers Way. Multiple state police personnel also arrived and began documenting inside and around the yellow tape. State police investigators collected blood evidence, took numerous photos, spoke with neighbors, and entered the residence while taking notes…
No further information was available at the time of this report… and the following HN Video highlights a very active crime scene which finally cleared shortly after 10:00 a.m.. HN will provide official updates as they become available.
