THE DAILY GRIND: Quick thinking patrolman finds man down, bleeding profusely… [HN PHOTO VIGNETTE]
HYANNIS – The call initially came in as man who had been badly hurt during some type of attack on Main Street. It was later learned the man fell and suffered a head injury with heavy bleeding – there was no attack. A Barnstable Police Patrolman wasted no time nonetheless, applying pressure to slow the bleeding. Hyannis EMTs arrived and took it from there. The patient, now in good hands, and thanks to police, was transported to CCH for further care.
