*** WATCH *** ALARMING CENTERVILLE SCENE: CALLER REPORTED SON JUST STABBED HIM WITH KNIFE
CENTERVILLE, Massachusetts – Police and firefighters rushed to an address on Buckskin Path at around 10:30 p.m. last evening after a caller reportedly stated his son had just stabbed him with a knife.
HN arrived shortly after first responders and observed a man seated upright in the back of a COMM FD ambulance. He was conscious, speaking with EMTs and appeared to be holding a bandage on his cheek. A crime scene photographer from the Barnstable County Sheriff’s Office eventually entered the ambulance and appeared to take photos of the man’s wounds, including wounds on his back.
As you can see in the following HN Video, the crime scene photographer then documented evidence in the driveway outside of the home. A parked U-Haul rental truck appeared to have blood stains running down its front fender. Photos were taken of clothing and a backpack that appeared to have blood stains. Photos were also taken of a hole torn into a jacket which appeared as though it could have possibly been caused by a knife.
The adult male was transported to Cape Cod Hospital with a Barnstable Police cruiser following behind it. Other than the man in the ambulance, there were no other civilians observed on scene. (Nobody was taken into custody while HN was on scene.)
After the ambulance left, a Barnstable Police sergeant radioed to classify the incident as a “domestic assault and battery.” A patrolman asked dispatch for an arrest number, which means someone will be criminally charged.
HN NOTE: Because this a domestic violence incident possibly involving a juvenile, no further details were available at the time of this report. It does appear, however, the man’s injuries were not being considered life-threatening…
