*** WATCH *** WOMAN TRANSPORTED TO CCH AFTER CRASH INTO UTILITY POLE
HYANNIS, Massachusetts – Police and firefighters responded Attucks Lane after a single vehicle rollover crash into a utility pole this morning, sometime around 1:00 a.m. A woman, believed to be the driver, was seen leaving the crash scene on foot, covered with blood. She was eventually located to the rear of the BJ’s Wholesale Club looking for help. She appeared to be suffering facial lacerations and was transported to Cape Cod Hospital. A utility pole was snapped and leaning, held up by high tension wires. There were power outages reported just after the crash. The pole needed to be either repaired or replaced, and a page was sent out for two police detail officers to assist Eversource as repairs were being made. The vehicle was found resting on its side with damage from making contact with the pole
