UPDATE – 5/8/19 @ 7:30 p.m. : According to a court report published this afternoon by the Cape Cod Times, Raymond Albury pleaded not guilty at his arraingnment and was released on $1500 bail despite a motion by the prosecution to revoke his bail because the defendant is still facing multiple firearm charges in another ongoing case.

INITIAL HN REPORT:
HYANNIS – A 22-year-old with a recent history of gun and drug charges was once again arrested this morning for a felony weapon charge.
At about 3:00 a.m. this morning, a Barnstable Patrolmen stopped a 2015 red Chevy Cruze in the parking lot of a hotel in the East End of Hyannis.
After a brief investigation, Raymond Albury, age 21, with a vehicle registration out of Cotuit, formally of Brockton, was reportedly arrested on the felony charge of Possession of a Dangerous Weapon/a knife.
Just over 7 months ago, on September 25, 2018, Albury was arrested in the Town of Bourne for Carrying a Firearm, Possession of a Firearm Without an FID Card, Receiving a Firearm with a Defiled Number, Marked Lanes Violation, Operation of a Motor Vehicle with License Suspended, and Possession of a Class B Drug, according to a court report in The Bourne Enterprise.
Albury was transported back to BPD Headquarters for booking. The following HN Video highlights the arrest.
