CCH placed on trauma alert for 25-year-old with head injury after Honda Civic slammed into parked trucks… [VIDEO]
HYANNIS – A 25-year-old male was badly hurt this morning after he drove into two parked trucks.
At about 1:20AM, Barnstable Police and Hyannis Rescue rushed to the single car crash on Old Yarmouth Road.
It was initially reported that the driver was possibly entrapped… but when HN arrived, a plainclothes police officer had access to the patient and was administering first aid.
As you will see and hear in the following video, rescue arrived and CCH was immediately put on trauma alert for a 25-year-old with a head injury.
The Honda Civic was heavily damaged after going head-on with two full-size pickup trucks, parked bumper to bumper, causing an abrupt stop after impact.
Despite the harsh impact and airbag deployment, a passenger in the vehicle was able to walk away, not needing to be transported to hospital.
The following video and audio highlights the scene.
