Driver Seriously Injured as Car Collides with Cemented Wall in Yarmouth [HN Photos]






YARMOUTH PORT, MASSACHUSETTS – [HN photo notes] – Cape Cod Hospital was placed on a priority one trauma alert Saturday evening, September 20, 2025, following a severe single-vehicle crash. At approximately 8:00 p.m., Yarmouth police and firefighters responded to the intersection of Willow Street and Route 6A, where a vehicle had violently collided with a cemented stone wall, shifting it roughly two inches due to the intense force of the crash.
The adult female driver, the sole occupant, sustained significant injuries, including a severe arm injury and other trauma. Despite her condition, she was able to speak with paramedics, who administered pain medication and escalated the trauma alert to priority one due to the crash’s magnitude, according to radio transmissions. She was swiftly transported to Cape Cod Hospital for treatment.
The crash forced temporary traffic detours as emergency responders managed the scene. The Yarmouth Police Department is actively investigating the cause of the crash.
