32-year-old male driver and 30-year-old female passenger, both of Yarmouth, taken to CCH after motorcycle crashes broadside into a sedan… [HN VIDEO]
HARWICH PORT – Route 28 was closed down for a period of time after a motorcycle collided with a Toyota sedan, shortly after midnight this morning. The crash happened at the intersection of Route 28 and Freeman Street.
Both the male driver and female passenger of the motorcycle were injured, but conscious and alert. According to radio transmissions, the 32-year-old male driver was from Yarmouth. His condition was described as “priority 2,” with possibility of a broken shoulder. The 30-year-old female passenger was also from Yarmouth. Her condition was described as “priority 3.”
Medflight and Life Flight helicopters were unavailable due to weather conditions and availability.
The Harwich Police Department is investigating the cause of the crash.
