Head-on on Dennis side road sends three to CCH… [VIDEO]

DENNIS – Three were hurt, with two of those classified as serious, but sources report the injuries were not considered life-threatening…
At about 3:05pm, police and rescue rushed to the area of 325 Airline Road for a head-on collision.
Two Dennis ambulances responded, with a third assisting from Brewster.
Sources reported one of the drivers was elderly, which may have contributed to the crash.
Firefighters also reportedly had to deal with a small fire after one of the vehicles ignited.
The busy Dennis side road was closed down in both directions for about 45 minutes to an hour as first responders cleaned up the scene.

The accident is being investigated by the Dennis Police Department.

West Barnstable Fire Department responded to an accident on the Service Road early this morning. The crash was reportedly caused by black ice conditions. The driver reports she is sore, but otherwise okay…
