HN photos: Juvenile male transported to CCH after car vs. “pedestrian” crash…

HN photo notes: The call came in as a car vs. pedestrian at the intersection of Main Street and Center Street in Hyannis, just before 6pm. A police source said that the juvenile male (initially described as a pedestrian as the call was dispatched) was being transported to Cape Cod Hospital with injuries believed to be relatively minor… or otherwise not believed to be life-threatening. It remains uncertain whether the juvenile was on his bicycle or walking at the time of the collision. Two other teenage bicyclists waited on scene as their friend was being evaluated in the ambulance, prior to being transported. The driver of the involved car remained on scene and was reportedly cooperative with investigators. The Barnstable Police Department is investigating the cause of the crash.
