HN PHOTOS: Man discovered unconscious with head trauma…
HYANNIS – Barnstable Police are looking for the person who struck a man, leaving him bloody and unconscious on the sidewalk early this morning.
At about 1:00AM, a Barnstable Patrolman radioed he was investigating a report of a fight on Main Street near the intersection with Pearl Street.
There was no fight upon arrival, but officers discovered the unconscious male and immediately began administering first aid.
Hyannis Rescue arrived and friends encouraged the dazed victim to go in the ambulance to CCH so he could be fully evaluated.
Barnstable Patrolmen spoke with witnesses and are looking into evidence which will hopefully help identify the suspect.
