Yarmouth Police Officers responded to the parking lot of Olivers & Planck’s Tavern on Route 6A for reports of an intoxicated man trying to drive away in a Honda sedan.
While officers were responding they were updated that the man may have become combative with people at the restaurant.
Additional Yarmouth Police Officers began heading toward Oliver’s when dispatch learned the suspect had just drove away from the scene, possibly heading toward an address on South Yarmouth Road in the Town of Dennis.
Officers caught up to and tried talking with the suspect in his driveway. As you will see in the following HN Video, the suspect reentered his vehicle and apparently disobeyed commands to get back out. The suspect eventually was pulled from the vehicle at Taser point. A struggle ensued.
