WEST YARMOUTH – [DEVELOPING] – As you will see and hear in the following HN Video, a driver and passenger were both taken into custody after their vehicle allegedly fled from police early this morning…
At about 12:45 AM, a Yarmouth Patrolman came on the radio and said he had a vehicle “fleeing” from him.
Additional officers – including two state troopers – began heading in the patrolman’s direction.
Just moments into the call, the vehicle finally stopped on Thomas Path, where the occupants of the vehicle were both taken into custody.
Sources told HN the driver is looking at being charged with Failure to Stop for a Police Officer and possible additional motor vehicle charges. At the time of this report, it’s uncertain why the passenger was also taken into custody. HN will provide updates with official details as they become available.
