HN VIDEO: Victim from Centerville motorcycle crash taken to off-Cape trauma center…
CENTERVILLE – As you will see in the following HN Video, the operator of a motorcycle that crashed on Great Marsh Road this morning at about 12:35AM was taken to an off-Cape trauma center.
The operator, described as a young man in his early 20s, was reportedly unconscious and on the ground in the area of 185 Great Marsh Road… and the crash may have happened right in front of the victim’s residence according to unofficial sources on scene.
A Medflight airlift was impossible because of weather conditions. Sources on scene told HN the young man was in and out of consciousness and his condition had been described as “priority two” just prior to being transported.
COMM Firefighters checked with police regarding traffic conditions and decided to take the patient via ambulance to South Shore Shore Hospital in South Weymouth.
Barnstable Police are investigating the crash.
