Police investigating after two car rollover crash sends two to CCH… [HN VIDEO]
HYANNIS – Two individuals were hurt after a two vehicle crash caused an SUV to rollover onto its side earlier this evening.
The following HN Video shows the scene moments after the crash at the intersection of Barnstable Road and Charles Street.
A female from the KIA sedan was secured onto a stretcher and transported to CCH. She was conscious and alert.
A male from the rolled over SUV was already self-extricated and sitting in a parking lot before Hyannis Rescue arrived. He was conscious, alert, and able to get himself onto the stretcher prior to being transported.
A member of the Barnstable County Sheriff’s Crime Scene Unit took photos.
Firefighters had to take extra precautions stabilizing the rolled over SUV before sawing open the windshield and reaching in to turn off the engine.
The Barnstable Police Department is investigating the cause of the crash.
