HYANNIS – A local man was out enjoying a drive in his new convertible shortly before midnight when he noticed heavy smoke in the area of Kalmus Beach…
… and it’s a good thing he called firefighters when he did because the flames were spreading fast.
As you will see in the following HN Video, Hyannis firefighters were able to quickly knock down the flames which had already consumed a good-sized area north of the beach parking lot.
A vehicle was reportedly witnessed leaving the area right at the time of the fire… and the Hyannis Fire Department is investigating the cause of the fire.
