Hyannis man charged after slow-speed pursuit…
HYANNIS – Speeds reached as high as 35 miles per hour during a slow-speed pursuit which reportedly started on Craigville Beach Road and ended in a driveway on West Hyannisport Circle Monday evening.
Julio Siguencia, age 28, of Hyannis was arrested without further incident for Failure to Stop for a Police Officer, along with Unlicensed Operation. Siguencia was also cited for previously Speeding prior to police attempting to stop him…
A source reports Siquencia may have given the excuse he didn’t stop because he needed to use the bathroom. That report has not yet been officially confirmed, but the fact of the matter is that Siguencia did not have a driver’s license.
Also, despite the low speeds, it is still strictly illegal not to yield for a police officer during a traffic stop.
The suspect’s vehicle was towed from the scene.
All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law…
