HYANNIS – Witnesses say a male driver, approximately in his 60s, suffered a serious head laceration after his sedan collided with a pickup truck at the intersection of Bearses Way and Walton Ave earlier this evening. As you will see in the following HN Video, the sedan was heavily damaged on the passenger side.

Traffic was slowed and diverted as both vehicles needed to be towed from the scene.

The Barnstable Police Department is investigating the cause of the crash.
