HYANNIS – HN was on hand yesterday for the annual Festa Junina (June Festival), AKA as being part of the “Festas de São João” which celebrate the nativity of Saint John the Baptist on June 24.
The annual festa is held next to the Saint Francis Xavier Church on South Street. It has become one of my favorite annual events to stop by and see. The following HN “Video” contains a number of snapshots of beautiful local families enjoying an annual cultural tradition.
