*** WATCH *** WOMAN ARRESTED AT SCENE OF MASSIVE LATE NIGHT FIREWORK DISPLAY IN FAMILY NEIGHBORHOOD…
HYANNIS – Police had been responding to a section of Fresh Holes Road on multiple occasions throughout the past weekend. According to radio transmissions, the complaints ranged from excessive noise (fireworks) and possible disturbances. It was an extremely busy Sunday evening with complaints regarding fireworks across Hyannis. HN had been parked blocks from Fresh Holes Road most of last evening and observed an ongoing display of large fireworks being fired into the air. HN noted that police had responded a couple of times to Fresh Holes Road, but the fireworks would continue after they left the area. At around 12:30 a.m., HN observed a large number of police officers meeting up in the Cape Cod Mall parking lot. Officers from the Yarmouth Police Department, along with Massachusetts State Troopers, met with Barnstable Officers to assist with their final response to Fresh Holes Road.
As you will see in the following HN Video, numerous police cruisers turned onto Fresh Holes Road near the intersection with Hiramar Road. It appeared there had been some sort of party on Fresh Holes Road, empty beer and liquor bottles littered the area. As you will see, there were also spent firework launchers cluttering up the area. There was broken fencing too…
There were not many revelers on scene when officers arrived, but there was one woman yelling at the cops and she ended up being arrested for Disorderly Conduct. (She was bailed out of the BPD lockup shortly after her arrest.)
* All suspects are presumed to be innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
The following HN Video documents the entire scene. It shows officers saturating a part of Fresh Holes Road that had been an ongoing concern throughout the weekend…
