Man reportedly threw “bleach” in woman’s face at Dennis Cumberland Farms… regional police looking for black Hummer… [HN VIDEO]
SOUTH DENNIS – As you will see and hear in the following HN Video, police across the region are looking for man who reportedly threw bleach in woman’s face at a Cumberland Farms in Dennis.
The man reportedly fled the crime scene in a black H3 Hummer. Police have a possible 27-year-old suspect, possibly in the company of female who also got into the Hummer with him before driving off.
At about 1:45AM, Dennis Rescue responded to the Cumberland Farms on Route 134 where they treated the victim for exposure to liquid bleach in the face. The victim did not want to be transported to Cape Cod Hospital…
A BOLO was put out to neighboring municipal police forces, including the local detachment of the Massachusetts State Police, with probable cause for the suspect’s arrest on serious charges.

UPDATE — THE FOLLOWING IS THE ACTUAL PRESS STATEMENT FROM THE DENNIS POLICE DEPARTMENT:
On 01/22/2018 at approx. 0140 hrs, Officer Elias from Dennis Police Department was flagged down by an employee of Cumberland Farms at 470 Route 134, South Dennis, reporting that a patron was assaulted by a male subject. Officer Elias’ initial investigation revealed that an argument occurred in the parking lot and inside the store. At one point, the male subject threw a substance into the victim’s face. The suspect exited the store and left in a dark colored vehicle, southbound on Route 134. Dennis Fire Rescue personnel responded to the scene to treat the victim. It appears that this incident was not random and the Dennis Police Department is actively investigating…
