Two heavily damaged vehicles, one on its roof… 4 hurt, 2 transported to off-Cape trauma hospitals… [HN VIDEO]
MARSTONS MILLS – The following is the official COMM FD media statement:
COMM FD received a call for a motor vehicle crash. C-321, C-323, A-326, and E-305 responded to the scene. C-321 arrived on location to find two vehicles with heavy damage. One vehicle was in the roadway and one vehicle was off the road on its roof. No entrapment. Barnstable PD was on location. A second ambulance, A-325 was called to the scene. A total of four patients were treated/evaluated. Two patients were transported via ground to Hasbro Childrens Hospital in Rhode Island and the other to South Shore Hospital in Weymouth. An additional two ambulances were requested to the scene. Cotuit FD and West Barnstable FD responded to the scene. Those ambulances transported two patients to Cape Cod Hospital. Osterville/West Barnstable Road was shut-down for approximately 45 minutes.
The Barnstable Police Department is investigating the cause of the crash.
