Mashpee Firefighters rescue entrapped woman from single car rollover… [HN VIDEO]
MASHPEE – A woman was able to walk out of the rolled over wreckage after firefighters cut away the windshield. She was transported to Falmouth Hospital and her injuries were not considered to be life-threatening, according to Captain Long of the Mashpee Fire Department.
There were no other passengers.
Shortly after midnight, Mashpee police and firefighters were on Sampson Mill Road where they found an SUV resting on its side after an apparent rollover. The female driver was reportedly entrapped but still conscious. [First responders had initially responded to the accident at about 11:30 p.m., according to official sources.]
Police completely shut down Sampson Mill Road for a period of time, from Route 28 to the crash scene, about a quarter of mile in, as first responders worked the scene…
The Mashpee Police Department is investigating the cause of the crash.
