MORE HYANNIS VIOLENCE: Tourists discover man with at least two stab wounds to the face… 3rd stabbing victim near Barnstable Town Offices within two days…
HYANNIS – Two tourists, a man and woman visiting from the Springfield area – both staying at a downtown hotel – thought nothing of taking a peaceful early morning stroll together…
… but that plan suddenly changed when they came upon a man down on the sidewalk in a puddle of blood, stabbed at least twice in the face.
As you will see in the following HN Video, shortly after 3:00 AM, Barnstable Police arrived on scene and began trying to piece together what had just happened.
The man on the sidewalk was badly hurt, bleeding profusely, dazed and confused, as officers began rendering aid in an effort to stop the bleeding.
Meanwhile, other officers followed a trail of blood which stretched along the sidewalk in front of the Barnstable Town Offices located at 200 Main Street.
A Hyannis Rescue ambulance arrived and the confused assault victim didn’t want to go to the hospital at first… but it wasn’t open for debate, he was severely injured and needed immediate emergency care.
HN noticed the victim walking in the area of Center Street a short while prior to the stabbing, at 2:44 AM. (HN will be reviewing dashcam footage which will have the time stamped and possibly other clues…)
Police have a description of a suspect vehicle…
This makes the 3rd stabbing victim found near to the Barnstable Town Offices located at 200 Main Street within the past two days.
