My friends at the BPD deserve a written warning…
Hyannis – The Barnstable Police decoy car parked at High School Road and Main Street has done an excellent job all summer long.
When you think about it, duck decoys are put out there to attract their own kind, so I’m assuming cop car decoys are meant to do the same; to that degree the decoy in front of the Main Street BPD Sub-station has surpassed all expectations!
In fact, it wasn’t unusual to see at least 2 or 3 ‘blue and whites’ parked their at any given time…
… and that is why the Main Street Sub-station decoy deserves a pass. It has been so busy since the June 2013 inspection deadline, getting a fresh sticker completely slipped it’s mind. (I bet you didn’t know cop cars actually have minds of their own.)
Couldn’t we all use a written warning from time to time?
