HYANNIS – In a recent article by the Cape Cod Times, a company which collects violent crime statistics from the FBI and 18,000 other law enforcement agencies recently ranked the Town of Barnstable as one of the most dangerous places in the entire United States of America.
According to NeighborhoodScout’s 2017 list of the Top 100 Dangerous U.S. Cities, Barnstable ranks 93rd, just one spot below the City of Cincinnati.

Sara Mannal, a Town of Barnstable employee, interviewed Chief Paul MacDonald yesterday for the town’s morning informational video broadcast on Channel 18.
