SHOCK REPORT: Man badly cut after girlfriend’s mom fires hot grill at him… [HN VIDEO]
YARMOUTH – Officers met the blood covered cookout victim around the corner from the initial fray.
A male behind the wheel of a vehicle with a severely smashed windshield had a nasty laceration on his left palm – so nasty the officer could see “subcutaneous fat,” and an ambulance was immediately dispatched to the scene.
The victim’s girlfriend was in the passenger seat.
According to Patrolwoman Mary Gibney’s report, on Sunday – 9/23/2018, the victim was attending a cookout at a Harpoon Lane address where his girlfriend, her children, and her mother all reside together.
The cookout was attended by the victim, his girlfriend, her children, her mother and another man.
The girlfriend’s mother had reportedly been drinking and an argument ensued revolving around her dissatisfaction with the victim being in her daughter’s life…
According to the report, both the victim and girlfriend stated the mother had been drunk and “her belligerence escalated to her picking up a hot outdoor grill and throwing it at [the boyfriend]”
The boyfriend “raised his hand to block the grill (the part the food cooks on) from striking him and it hit him in the hand, slicing it open.”
(At this point, Officer Gibney took out her cellphone and photographed the man’s wound.)
Officer Gibney’s report continues, “[The mother] then resorted to picking up anything and everything she could get her hands on and throwing it at [the boyfriend and his] vehicle as he was trying to leave. His front windshield was severely smashed, affecting the integrity and viewing area of the windshield so much that the vehicle was later towed. [The boyfriend also] stated she threw bicycles at his car, along with logs.”
All the violent behavior allegedly took place in front of children, including neighborhood kids…
Back at the house, Officer Gibney reportedly photographed a wood log with blood on it, bicycles, a grill on the deck described as being in pieces, along with food and barbecue sauce on the ground.
The victim was transported to Cape Cod Hospital, where his palm reportedly needed stitches for what was documented as a “severe laceration.”
Angela Robinson, age 51, of Harpoon Lane in Yarmouth, was charged with two felonies: Assault & Battery with a Dangerous Weapon (a grille), and Malicious Destruction of a Motor Vehicle.
A record check on Robinson revealed she had 12 previous entries on her BOP, including A&B with a Dangerous Weapon (Iron Weights), 7 entries for Assault & Battery, Breaking & Entering, Leaving the Scene of an accident with Property Damage, Resisting Arrest, and Disturbing the Peace.
At the arraignment, Robinson signed a promise to appear form that ordered her to have no contact and stay away from the victim, either directly or indirectly, including social media.
(Also note, the promise to appear form made no mention as to whether she should refrain from grilling or not… 😉 )
