SOUTH YARMOUTH – The 6th annual Yarmouth Summer Celebration kicked off last night with fireworks at the beach!
The evening’s spectacular pre-Independence Day firework display helped the town welcome in the 2016 Summer Season with flair.
There wasn’t a cloud in the sky as the annual display over Nantucket Sound was observed from all of Yarmouth’s south facing beaches.
Native and visiting families got together to enjoy a spectacular presentation by American Thunder Fireworks INC.
Colorful crowd pleasing skyrockets were launched from South Middle Beach, just off South Shore Drive.
The aim of this year’s community event was to celebrate the upcoming summer season in a positive way, ahead of the July 4th holiday.
