Tuesday HN Photos: “Walking, walking in the rain…”

Above HN photos: Barnstable Police responded to a single vehicle crash shortly before 3:00 a.m. this morning at the intersection of Route 132 and Route 6A in West Barnstable. The driver claims his pickup truck suddenly had brake issues in the steady rain. Two large highway signs were flattened. There were no reported injuries. The Barnstable Police Department is investigating the cause of the accident.

Above HN photo: Barnstable Police and Centerville-Osterville-Marstons Mills FD responded to Route 28 near the intersection with Lumbert Mill Road after a single vehicle slid off the roadway into the woods. There were no reported injuries, and the BPD is investigating.
Flooding and large puddles made for hazardous driving during these recent rains… and one can never be too cautious out there, even under the best conditions!
