VIDEO: Firefighters rescue two entrapped seniors from Main Street rollover…
HYANNIS – Two seniors traveling in a SUV loaded with Kayaks and other sporting gear, amazingly walked away from a rollover crash with barely a scratch last evening.
Last evening at about 9:15PM, Barnstable Police and Hyannis Rescue rushed to the intersection of Main Street and High School Road for a two car accident with two seniors trapped inside a rolled-over SUV.
As you will see in the following video, firefighters quickly made contact with the entrapped couple, setting them at ease while they stabilized the vehicle and cut away the windshield.
According to Captain Dardia of the Hyannis Fire Department, both passengers checked out okay and did not need to be transported to hospital.
HN NOTE: The rolled over SUV had New York license plates and the couple appeared to be here visiting on vacation with a lot of sporting gear, which included golf clubs. Maybe it was their active lifestyle which kept them fit enough to survive the rollover without injuries…
