Last evening at about 10:48PM, Barnstable squad cars responded to what was initially reported as a robbery…
… as it turns out, it somehow didn’t get that far.
As you will hear in the following video, a female at the ATM saw a man in ski mask. They never interacted. Nothing was taken. No weapon shown.
Mall security was in the area and Barnstable Police responded…
Moments later, a patrolman located a ski mask and some black rubber gloves, apparently recently discarded on a residential lawn several blocks away.
A police K-9 unit responded and hit the ground tracking…
The “suspicious incident” is being investigated by the Barnstable Police Department.
