At about 10:10am, police responded to a report that a large light pole had fallen onto a parked car near the Dollar Tree store at the Festival Plaza…
An employee of one of the stores located inside the shopping plaza had parked her vehicle in the less congested part of the lot, away from the entrance to where she works.
Suddenly, other store employees say the large pole began to fall, landing on one of the employee vehicles.
Nobody was injured… and no other vehicles were damaged.
The incident is being investigated by the Barnstable Police Department.
