WEST YARMOUTH – The driver of a black Chevy pickup truck was witnessed running away from a crash scene while apparently speaking into his cellphone early this morning. The single vehicle crash into a utility pole happened around 3AM at the intersection of Rte. 28 and Camp Street. Yarmouth Police attempted to track the suspect north on Camp Street but were unable to locate him.
The Yarmouth Police Department is investigating the cause of the crash, along with who was driving. The following HN Video highlights the crash scene moments after the arrival of Yarmouth police officers…
