*** WATCH *** OCCUPANTS FLEE WEST YARMOUTH CRASH SCENE
WEST YARMOUTH – Yarmouth Patrol Officers were in the process of investigating a road rage incident when they received a report of a loud crash nearby, at the intersection of Camp Street and Buck Island Road, at around 1:20 a.m. this morning.
Officers quickly discovered a single vehicle crashed into some rocks at the entrance to Mill Pond Village, at 121 Camp Street. Officers believe the crashed Dodge Charger was one of the vehicles involved in the road rage incident.
The driver had abandoned the vehicle and fled the scene, possibly along with another occupant, according to sources on scene.
As you will see and hear in the following HN Video, officers from Yarmouth and Barnstable set up a perimeter as a K9 unit began tracking in the area.
Officers were unable to locate the occupants and the investigation into the incident is active and ongoing…
The following HN Video highlights the scene moments after the arrival of Yarmouth officers…
