HYANNIS – As you will hear in the following video, Barnstable Police responded to Lafrance Ave at about 1:49AM this morning for a report that three males tried to break into a home.
A young man was at home with his mom when the dog started barking…
He observed three males, two with hoodies, one wearing a clown mask…
At some point he reportedly gave chase… while chasing the clown and his two hooded accomplices he was struck and injured on the knee, according to sources…
A Barnstable Police crime scene photographer was called to document the man’s injuries…
A police K-9 track of the area was inconclusive.
