Woman racked up 3rd OUI charge after crashing into roundabout at full speed… [VIDEO]

HYANNIS – A HN camera was rolling right after a woman crashed into the roundabout on Bearses Way in front of the youth center.
Officers were speaking with the driver when she appeared unsteady on her feet.
Just prior to the crash, a witness was concerned about the woman’s driving and was following behind her when she suddenly drove straight into the stone barrier that encircles the roundabout. She was reportedly driving about 30 MPH and did not brake or slow down prior to the collision. The impact was so powerful it reportedly cracked the stone barrier.
Airbags deployed inside the vehicle. The driver did not appear to be injured.
Kathleen Watters, age 55, of Centerville was arrested and charged with OUI Liquor/Third Offense, Operating Negligently so as to Endanger, Operating After Suspension of a Driver’s License for a Previous OUI, and Marked Lane Violations.
The following video highlights the scene right before the suspect was placed under arrest. It shows Patrolman Brian Jenkins needing to stabilize the driver after she appeared unsteady on her feet. Jenkins then placed her under arrest and assisted her into the back seat of his cruiser…
