YARMOUTH – Early yesterday morning – Monday, June 13, 2022 – Police and Yarmouth Firefighters responded to Route 6 eastbound prior to Exit 75 for a single car crashed into the woods. Brewster Firefighters had been passing by and began assisting the patient in the back of their ambulance. A Yarmouth FD ambulance arrived and took over care of the patient. The patient was described as being in “priority two” condition and had just been released from the hospital prior to the crash. The patient, described as a 35-year-old female, was transported back to Cape Cod Hospital. Her injuries were not believed to be life-threatening at the time of this report. The Massachusetts State Police is investigating the cause of the crash.
