Woman sent to CCH after being BUG BOMBED!
HYANNIS — Police and rescue rushed to an address on Hiramar Road last evening for a woman who was having difficulty breathing.
The medical emergency was initially described as being the result of some type of bomb that had just been set of by her roommate inside the home. Needless to say, this captured the attention and imagination of additional police, including at least on state trooper in the area…
Upon further investigation, police and rescue learned the woman’s medical emergency was actually caused by a “bug bomb,” which contained pesticide.
The woman either was not warned when the bomb was set off, or else someone did not read the warning on the side of the insecticide can.
The woman was wheeled out on a stretcher coughing. She was transported to CCH to be treated for pesticide inhalation.
