BARNSTABLE – The Massachusetts State Police are investigating a rollover crash that happened on the Mid-Cape Highway earlier this evening around 9:30 p.m..

The crash happened eastbound just east of Exit 68 (between the old Exits 6 and 7). The crash involved two vehicles, with one of the vehicles rolling onto its roof in the snow covered wooded median between eastbound and westbound travel lanes.

Barnstable Rescue responded to the scene to evaluate the passengers of both vehicles and collected a total of 5 “refusals,” according to radio transmissions. No one was transported to the hospital.

As you will see in the following HN Video, troopers needed to close down one of the lanes while working the scene.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
