SHOCK REPORT: Barnstable is the “DRUNKEST” city in Massachusetts…...

BARNSTABLE – According to a report in yesterday’s USA Today, and based on statistics from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the “city” of Barnstable has the highest rate of binge or heavy drinking in the state of Massachusetts.

According to the report, 21.0% of adults in Barnstable drink excessively, the highest in the state.

On a positive note, the report also says Barnstable has the lowest smoking rate, lowest obesity rate, and the highest rate of adults who are physically active on a regular basis.

So, in other words, the report seems to suggest we’re relatively “healthy” drunks…

She had her packed belongings and it already appeared as though someone may have rifled through her purse. Officers needed to take her into protective custody for her own safety. This occurred late in the evening, 10/5/2017… NOTE: HN takes many similar photos on a daily basis… most of these photos are never published… but this is NOT an uncommon sight in the downtown Hyannis areas, unfortunately…
