HYANNIS – Here’s something you don’t see everyday…

…not even in Hytown!

HN was parked along Route 28 early yesterday (Friday) morning when a Barnstable Patrolman initiated what appeared to be a routine traffic stop on a taxicab right in front of where I was parked.

HN got out and began rolling on video right after the passenger was being arrested (because you never know)… and as you will see in the video, the taxicab driver was also arrested moments later on what sounded like some type of default warrant.

A paying female passenger can be heard calling friends after she had found herself suddenly stranded on the side of Route 28.

According to sources, both individuals were arrested on two separate arrest warrants.

Police contacted the taxicab company and informed them they had a paying customer stranded and waiting in the backseat of one of their vehicles. Last word was that the cab company was sending over a replacement driver to take the young lady where she wanted to go.
