[NEW ARREST VIDEO] Child reportedly ejected from vehicle during alleged theft of 60” flat screen T.V….
UPDATE: Arrests made, mother and “male passenger” charged with Reckless Endangerment of a Child. The 5-year-old boy is safe, in good health, and is currently in DCF care.

Subject: Reckless Endangerment of a Child
Based on an investigation conducted by the Falmouth Police Department, with assistance from the Yarmouth PD, regarding an alleged child endangerment incident that occurred in the parking lot of the Falmouth Mall on 03/01/15, arrest warrants were obtained for Lisa Degerolamo (29 years old of Yarmouth) and Daniel McLaughlin (29 years old also of Yarmouth). At approximately 10:30 PM, Falmouth officers (Sgt. Rogers, Ptl. Batchelder and Ptl. J. Massi) and Yarmouth officers arrested both individuals at a residence in West Yarmouth.
Degerolamo was charged with:
Reckless Endangerment of a Child
Child without a Seat Belt
Operating with a Suspended License
Negligent Operation of a Motor Vehicle
Larceny over $250
McLaughlin was charged with:
Reckless Endangerment of a Child
Larceny over $250
Both individuals are expected to be arraigned in Falmouth
District Court in the morning.
The five year old child is safe and in good health and DCF is investigating.

The following is the actual Falmouth Police Department press statement:
The Falmouth Police Department [was] actively searching for MA. Reg. 793NA6, Blue 2004 Buick Rendezvous utility vehicle believed to be operated by Lisa Degerolamo with a last known address in West Yarmouth.
The subject is wanted in connection with a child endangerment case where the vehicle fled the parking lot of Wal-Mart after being involved in an alleged theft of a flat screen TV.
As the vehicle was fleeing the scene, a small child was ejected from the vehicle due to an unsecured door that was left ajar due to the size of the television.
Bystanders attempted to intervene; however the suspect returned and collected the child then fled the area.
Anyone having information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Falmouth Police Department at 508-457-2527.

HN went right to the suspect’s last known address and waited.
YPD had patrol officers staking out that address during the day shift.
HN drove by and observed the suspect vehicle right after the 4pm to midnight shift change. YPD had not yet sent a patrol car to follow up… HN contacted police and they sent patrol cars to check on the well being of the child.

UPDATE 3/3/15: A source reports the suspects’ dog is actually named “Felony,” not Melanie as initially reported. The dog is now in the custody of relatives of the suspects, after a short stay with Yarmouth Animal Control… Click here for more on the suspects’ pit bull…
