BREAKING: FATAL SINGLE CAR CRASH IN HARWICH…
UPDATE FROM THE HARWICH POLICE:
“On Saturday, November 10, 2018 at approximately 1:55am, Harwich Police and Fire responded to the scene of a single vehicle crash at the intersection of Long Pond Drive and Oak Street. The first arriving police units located a vehicle that had struck a utility pole and rolled over. The vehicle was occupied by a female driver who had sustained fatal injuries as a result of the crash.
The circumstances of the crash are under investigation by the Harwich Police and the Cape Cod Regional Crash Reconstruction Team.”

HARWICH – [DEVELOPING] – As you will see in the following HN Video, at about 2:00 am this morning, Harwich Police and Firefighters responded to Long Pond Drive near the intersection with Oak Street for a report of a serious single car crash.
Despite rescue attempts, the driver was said to have died at the scene.
Accident reconstruction experts responded to document and investigate.
According to sources, the vehicle left the roadway and struck a utility pole. As you will see in the video, a utility pole had been chopped off at the bottom and was suspended above the intersection, held up by wires.
Officers taped off a large area and began trying to make sense of the somber scene.
